Aurora (by Pacific Trading Cards) was released in the spring of 1998 as a 200-card set. Aurora was one of Pacific's initial English-only baseball card offerings, along with 1998 Paramount, and hence was not licensed by MLB Properties. On the fronts, there was an action photo and a portrait of the player on a green background with their team, position, and name.A portrait photo of the player appears on the reverse of the card, along with the normal stats, bio, and a brief about their career, as well as a trivia question and answer. Overall, it's a terrific set to collect, with a wealth of information about the players and trivia that will puzzle even the most seasoned collectors.
