This set was created by the Schutter-Johnson Candy Corporation as a promotional item featuring a Major League Secret. These hand-drawn cards from Al Demaree, who used to be a Cubs pitcher turned cartoonist, were set against a red field with fantastic drawings and a great subject to learn about the game, but they are very difficult to collect. The real fun is on the reverse of the card, as one of the Cubs' super-greats gives Major League Secrets on how to correctly play the ball, which a lot of Major Leaguers today should read up on. R332 might be one of the better early unknown gems in the baseball collecting community. To prevent purchasing a false piece of history, always get a professionally graded card from a recognized provider. In the future, graded cards will be significantly more valuable.
