2016 Heritage Checklist + Cards

2016 Topps Heritage baseball cards are based on the 1967 Topps set which includes 725-card set released in two series and a 100 total short prints SP

Continuing theme from Heritage Baseball

  • Throwback Uniform Variations,

  • Team Name Color Variations 

offer differences from the base cards for select players and much tougher odds.

The first 500 cards were part of the Heritage Series that was released March 3rd. The final 225 cards are part of the High Number Series that was released on September 21st. 

The 225-card set with 25 base Short Prints which include late rookie call-ups and veterans that joined new teams. 

The High Number Series usually parallels include

Jon Lester started game one of the world series. Home plate umpire Larry Vanover expanded the strike zone for the Cleveland Indians. Dexter Fowler made history with his at-bat for being the first black player to play for the Cubs in a World Series. That's sad! Lead-off game seven blast set the tone to break the 108 year drought, including so called two curses. 1918 series and the billy goat.
