1956 PM15 Yellow Basepath Pins

Who would ever collect these weird, mostly unknown cubs memorabilia? Well, I do, and if you do, then you're a hard-core Cubs collector.

Number of Cards

In 1956 Yellow Basepath Pins had 32 pieces, of which there were 2 Cubs players.

Size of Cards

The size of the pins is a diameter of 7/8".

Basic Features

It was definitely an oddball set. They were in bubble gum machines for a penny and the chances of getting what you wanted were very slim.

The 1956 Yellow Basepath Pins baseball set includes 32 unnumbered pins with a diameter of 7/8". Each pin features a black-and-white headshot of the athlete, along with his name in black beneath his face. The photos are arranged against a green background and feature a baseball diamond with yellow basepaths.
