2022 Topps 87 35th Anniversary Insert Set

These anniversaries are starting to grate on my nerves. Topps celebrated the 87 set five years ago. They didn't seem to care about coming up with something new since they sold the company. Sandberg appears to be the lone card in the 100-card insert this year.

Basic Features

This Topps insert set is one of my favorites. These inserts were a fantastic tribute to the 1987 edition, with chrome, upgrades, and autos.

Topps is commemorating the 30th anniversary of its renowned wood-grained 1987 issue with an insert set that pays homage to the vintage cards. Modern players are featured on Series 1 cards, while rookies and all-stars are featured on Series 2

The base cards can be found in 1:4 packs, and the parallels are Red #/25
