1954 Wilson Franks Strange and Unusual

Who would ever collect these weird, mostly unknown cubs memorabilia? Well, I do, and if you do, then you're a hard-core Cubs collector.

Number of Cards

1954 Wilson Franks has 20 cards which there is 2 Cubs players

Size of Cards

The size of the cards are approximately 2-5/8" x 3-3/4"

Basic Features

This set is from one of the most popular regional baseball card series from the 1950s. Wilson Franks, based in the Chicago area, released a 20-card set issued in their hot dog packs. The white-bordered cards feature a full-color portrait photo and their name, position and team in one upper corner and the Wilson Weiner hot dog package logo in the other. A facsimile signature of the baseball player is found on the bottom front.

Biographical information, a small narrative, and seasonal and career statistics are all included on the backs of the cards. This collection is the most sought-after of all food items ever created.
